Famous French rally driver

Jean-Pierre Nicolas and co-driver Claude Roure started from Marrakech for the 1971 Monte Carlo rally. Jean-Pierre Nicolas is a famous French rally driver when many wins, also for Alpine in the official world championship that started in 1973. Later, he was the sporting director for Peugeot and worked at senior positions at the FIA.

Exterior

The car underwent an extensive restoration around 2010, breathing new life into its classic form. Its distinctive orange fenders served a practical purpose, allowing the mechanics to quickly identify its arrival and prepare accordingly. 

Interior

Embracing its rallying roots, the car comes fully equipped with a comprehensive roll cage and a trusty tripmaster. Although its FIA papers have expired, this doesn't diminish its allure. The black leather bucket seats with 4 point seatbelt will keep you in full control when behind the wheel, the car delivers an effortless and approachable driving experience. However, once unleashed, it reveals its true nature as an exhilarating beast, unleashing a symphony of raw power and captivatingly loud engine.

Owner history

he factory typically used their works car for a limited period, then selling them off to privateers. With the car comes an extensive file of pictures and detailed history. An interesting fact is that the car was owned at some point by Jean Redelé, the famous founder of Alpine, with pictures to proof.
