Famous French rally driver
Jean-Pierre Nicolas and co-driver Claude Roure started from Marrakech for the 1971 Monte Carlo rally. Jean-Pierre Nicolas is a famous French rally driver when many wins, also for Alpine in the official world championship that started in 1973. Later, he was the sporting director for Peugeot and worked at senior positions at the FIA.
