About the car
This 1933 Talbot AV105 was built in the spirit of the famous Talbot Alpine Team Cars, widely regarded as some of the most capable and durable British sporting cars of the prewar era. The AV105 gained its reputation through demanding competition work, especially in events such as the Alpine Trials, where endurance, mechanical toughness and real world road performance mattered far more than outright speed.
Talbot’s success in these events proved just how advanced and dependable the AV105 truly was.

Performance

This Talbot has been built and prepared to reflect the true Alpine team cars, not simply as a cosmetic replica, but as a car created with the correct purpose and character in mind. Originally an AV95 saloon, this car was bought in the 1990's. The decision was made to fully restore the car and convert it into a replica of the very successful 'BGH' team cars from the 1934 Alpine Trial.

Most importantly, this AV105 has been tried, tested and proven through the years, showing the same strong and dependable qualities that made the original Alpine team cars legendary.
