About the car

This beautiful Alvis was subject to a body off restoration in 1989. The engine has been uprated to a 3.5 Litre speed 25 engine. Work has been done throughout the years since then to keep the Alvis a beautiful driver.

Under the hood

The original speed 20 engine was replaced by a speed 25 SC engine 3571cc, This has just been fitted with a brand new cylinder head, valves and twin exhaust manifolds. A Kenlowe electric fan has been fitted as well as a modern coil and ignition system.

Interior

All upholstery, widescreens, tonneau, hood and carpeting renewed to original design using old patterns. New walnut dashboard has been fitted.

Well documented

This Alvis was subject to a body off restoration in 1989-1992. Full details of all work done and recorded on invoices totaling over 40,000. All work is backed up by detailed invoices and pictures. All invoices and service done since the restoration has been kept and is with the car. A truly well documented Alvis.

Extensive history

The car comes with an extensive history file, including a Sewell report as well as detailed documentation of the restoration. The file also contains a trove of correspondence from previous owners, providing valuable insights into the car's history.

FIVA Passport

The car is accompanied by an expired FIVA Passport with an A3 classification. Notably, there are substantial invoices from Gentry Restorations dating back to 2014, attesting to the investments made in restoring and maintaining the car to its current condition.
