About This Car

This M45 has 6 documented owners from new. Commissioned by Duff Morgan Ltd. in 1934 this Vanden Plas Lagonda M45 is in beautiful condition. The original owner purchased the vehicle after he had bought 10,000 shares in a national newspaper, which within a week had gained a shilling each in value, he then invested the profit in ordering this Lagonda.

Under the Hood

The 4.5 liter M45 scores considerably over its forebears by its high power to weight ratio. The  chassis is no longer in length than the 3 litre Lagonda, and therefore has no mention of clumsiness or heavy steering. The M45 deployed the Meadows 4.5 Litre twin plug six to good effect. This M45 has been looked after well and is making 160hp.

Interior

The interior on this M45 has stood the test of time and shows a wonderful amount of patina. Four seats for the family is a plus and plenty of luggage space in the boot.

The M45 has a full history including all known owners the original purchase invoice. MOT documents including V5C, aswell as registration in the EU. Countless bills, and other information. The complete package.

Extensive history

The car comes with an extensive history file, including a Sewell report as well as detailed documentation of the restoration. The file also contains a trove of correspondence from previous owners, providing valuable insights into the car's history. 

FIVA Passport

The car is accompanied by an expired FIVA Passport with an A3 classification.  Notably, there are substantial invoices from Gentry Restorations dating back to 2014, attesting to the investments made in restoring and maintaining the car to its current condition.
