One of only 24 short chassis 4.3 Alvises produced, only 12 being bodied by Vanden Plas and the only one bodied in the DHC style. All others having no proper side windows and poorer weather protection. A super rare Alvis and one of the true great prewar driving experiences.

Chassis number 18408, equipped with the iconic 4.3 Litre Alvis engine, is one of only 160 surviving 4.3 Litre cars and one of only 24 built originally on the short chassis.Originality is exceptional with this car having its original engine, chassis, bulkhead, body and all related parts. The condition is lovely, while not top level nor concourse winning condition it could easily hold it's head up high with other contestants and not be out of place.
