About the car
The 1933 Alvis Speed 20 is a classic British sports touring car. Often fitted with handsome coach built bodies this one known as a March Special is one of a kind and tailor made by the grandfather of the current Lord March of Goodwood "Kevill Davies & March".
Engine
Under the bonnet is a 2.5 litre inline six cylinder engine, designed to deliver strong, usable power. For the mid 1930's, this gave the Speed 20 genuinely capable performance and made it well suited for fast touring.

Driving characteristics
On the road, the Speed 20 feels solid and confidence inspiring. It’s not a sharp sports car in the modern sense but it drives with a steady, well balanced feel. The steering is easy and the gearshifts are smoot, making it an enjoyable and very capable vintage long distance machine.
