About the car
The 1939 Delage D6 -75 TT is a rare and well documented prewar French automobile that represents one of the final models produced by Delage before the outbreak of World War II. Built under the ownership of Delahaye, this particular chassis is a genuine survivor from a short production run and is known within classic car circles, especially in the United Kingdom. While no longer wearing its original coachwork, 51559 retains its historical integrity as an authentic Delage chassis and has become recognized for its distinctive Le Mans inspired appearance.

Engine
Powered by an inline six cylinder engine, a 3.0 litre unit producing very strong horsepower. This engine is noted for its smooth and refined performance, delivering power in a quiet and balanced manner and makes this car extremely fast. The engine is paired to an electronic Cotal preselector 4-speed gearbox.Design / Documentation
The most distinctive feature of the Delage today is its dramatic Le Mans style design inspired by 1930s endurance racing cars. Unlike the bespoke luxury bodies typically fitted by coachbuilders such as Figoni & Falaschi or Chapron, the current Le Mans type coachwork gives the car a far more sporting and aggressive character. The Delage comes with a book from its successful participation on the Mille Miglia in 2017, FIVA, registration and number plates
UK / SORN, as well as all original and recent invoices.
