HistoryThe first Healey Westland was produced in 1946. Over the next years three different versions of the chassis were made. 17 of the A chassis, 42 of the B chassis and of the C chassis only 11 were produced. This particular car being one of the B-Type chassis.
The Westland takes its name from Westland Engineering Company at Hereford, England, which built the prototype (November 1945). Later cars were built in chassis form at the Healey Works at Warwick, some complete and others bodied by several British coachbuilding companies.
