Pedigree
Since its introduction in 1925 the 2-litre speed model lagonda was met with increasing success, and the steady demand for a similar vehicle with an even higher performance has led to the introduction of the supercharged model, which was road tested at brooklands.

Interior
The beautifully restored green leather interior provides a striking contrast to the black exterior, creating an exceptionally elegant presentation. The attention to detail is evident throughout the car, with every aspect finished to an impressive standard. The chrome work is impeccable, while each of the original dials remains in pristine condition.Engine
The 2.4 litre engine upgrade in this vintage 2litre Supercharged Lagonda transforms the vehicle into a powerful, smooth touring machine using specialized components like custom cranks and rods. (read more on our dedicated 2.4L page).

Enhanced by the supercharger
A classic example of racing improving the breed, the 'low chassis' 2 litre possessed markedly superior handling characteristics courtesy of its lower centre of gravity. For all its virtues, Davidson's engine was limited by its tortuous induction tracts and in 1930 a supercharged version was introduced to overcome this deficiency. The 'blower' was mounted vertically in front of the engine, while a 3-litre rear axle beefed up the transmission. A Powerplus supercharger was specified at first but most 'blown' 2 litres came with a Cozette. When equipped, a low chassis 2 litre was capable of up to 90 mph. This upgraded 2.4-litre Lagonda is more than capable of achieving that figure with ease.
