This car has been completely restored and has been done to a high standard, it runs and drives extremely well for it’s type and has no faults evident, The chassis and origin of this car is 1935 Alvis 3.5 litre, (SA 25/63 model type) that left the factory in 1936 as all 3.5 litre cars as a “Rolling chassis” ie. A finished chassis with all running gear and engine etc ready to take a coach-built body of the owner’s desire. It was subsequently bodied by Mayfair Carriage Company, and registered in 1936 in the UK with registration plate, BWE 98, it still wears this registration number today. During the latest restoration this car has been up-rated by the fitment of the larger 4.3 litre engine.

Known Owners
The car comes with a small history file and a letter from the Alvis Owners Club stating that this car was delivered to it’s first owner in 1935 with registration BWE 98 and it is supportive of this car’s continuous use of this plate. (Dutch registered at present) There is also a copy of the original dispatch records from Alvis as a rolling chassis to Mayfair Carriage Co.Engine Rebuild
The engine was rebuilt at the time of restoration and has included several improvements for performance and reliability. A superb and fast car indeed.

Well Documented
This car was Registered in the UK with it’s original 1936 registration plate BWE 98 and now Dutch registered, It is in great condition, all chrome-work has been renewed and all parts either restored or replaced to make this car look and drive at the top of it’s class.Want to know more?
